Mohammed Saber, official of Dar Al-Mada’s pavilion at the Iraq Book Fair, told Al-Mada, “It is my first year to co-organize the exhibition, It exceeded our expectations, and this year there is great interest and care in arranging and distributing the halls.” Saber added, “We didn’t expect people to go continuously all day long.”
Saber pointed out that “in light of the current circumstances experienced by the Iraqi reader, he is interested in everything related to reading.” He pointed out that “the exhibition was organized in a very record time.” Regarding Dar Al-Mada’s participation in the exhibition, Saber stressed that “Al-Mada is considered a very important cultural house, and the most important thing that distinguishes it is the many publications annually, which reach 60 publications in translation and other branches of literature.”
Regarding the organization of the exhibition and the house, he explained that the work “took 8 days for the exhibition and the Al Mada pavilion took two days, where we completed its decoration in the exhibition.”

Fadak al-Shammari, one of the workers at Dar al-Mada’s pavilion at the Iraq Book Fair, said, “We were surprised by the number of people coming to Dar al-Mada, especially since it made strong and exaggerated performances.”
Al-Shammari confirmed in her speech to “Al-Mada”, that “the amount of reduction has often reached a large percentage, Where the discount is made after taking a number of books, and this helps in the arrival of more readers, especially with the talk of those coming to the existing reduction.” Al-Shammari explained that “the remarkable attendance at the exhibition is because the exhibitions were canceled a while ago due to the Corona pandemic, so everyone is excited about the return of exhibitions again after their cessation, in addition to the large participation of local, Arab and even international publishing houses.” “Her work at Dar Al Mada is very beautiful because working in books in general is beautiful and the Foundation’s treatment of me is beautiful and special, which makes me do extra work for the success of our special pavilion at the exhibition,” she said.
